MSNBC Reporter Hyperventilates As She Connects Trump To Texas Floods

MSNBC reporter Yamiche Alcindor made headlines again this week while trying to bizarrely blame President Donald Trump for hitting back at the media over the deadly flash floods in Texas.

During an off-the-rails interview on MSNBC with host Katy Tur, Alcindor was asked about Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and others traveling to Texas on Friday.

Instead of speaking about the Trump administration’s response to the flooding and helping victims, Alcindor instead attempted to scold Trump for hitting back at some in the media for blaming his alleged “cuts” for the deaths in Texas.

“The president has said that he probably will go to Texas on Friday. the White House press secretary, though, is making it very clear that those plans are not final. The other thing that the White House is doing is really pushing back on this notion that the National Weather Service didn’t have the resources and the staffing that it needed at the time that this flood happened, in order to do what was best for the residents in Texas,” Alcindor began.

“The White House press secretary said multiple times, just in the last few minutes here, that these offices in this part of Texas, that they had what they needed, that they were adequately staffed. I talked to a White House official who actually called it disgusting to try to criticize any sort of staffing levels at the National Weather Service, or to try to blame the Trump Administration for cuts that happened at the National Weather Service, for why this flood has become as deadly as it is,” she said.

The White House press secretary pointing out that this is a once-in-a-century, once-in-a-few-decades level flooding, and that this was something that not — nobody would have really seen coming. That being said, the White House is also pointing to meteorologists that we’ve seen in Texas saying that there were staffing concerns, but that there were no staffing issues that led to ample warnings not being given out in the way that they were,” she added.

Alcindor even took it as far as to peddle false, left-wing talking points about “staffing cuts” before then actually admitting that “the National Weather Service had the staffing that it needed.”

Alcindor declared, “We at NBC News have also talked to some people, meteorologists and others, who say that the National Weather Service had the staffing that it needed, even though, again, that there were concerns about staffing. We’ve also, of course, I’m sure Julie is going to tell us about the lawmakers that we are — that are now wanting to, this issue to be more investigated. But the White House here, taking a really defensive posture on the idea that anything that President Trump did hurt the people in Texas, and the White House press secretary also saying that the president wants to give Texas any of the resources it needs in this moment.”

Alcindor freaked out recently after Trump allowed a small group of White South African farmers, who have faced severe persecution in their home nation, to come to the United States as refugees, and it has set off a firestorm of racism accusations.

Alcindor, who had an on-air meltdown after her network played the president’s answer as to the reason he was allowing the refugees in.

“Because they’re being killed, and we don’t want to see people be killed,” he said to the reporter who asked him the question at the press conference. “Now, South Africa leadership is coming to see me, I understand, sometime next week. And you know, we’re supposed to have a—I guess a G20 meeting there or something. But we’re having a G20 meeting. I don’t know how we can go unless that situation’s taken care of.”

“It’s a genocide that’s taking place that you people don’t want to write about, but it’s a terrible thing that’s taking place,” the president said. “And farmers are being killed. They happen to be white.”

“I don’t care who they are. I don’t care about their race, their color. I don’t care about their height, their weight… I just know that what’s happening is terrible,” he said before hammering the media over what he said was a double standard.
