Trump Receives Multiple Nominations For Nobel Peace Prize

Rep. Claudia Tenney just announced that she has “twice nominated” President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, writing, “No modern leader has done more for World Peace than President Trump, and it’s long past time he receives recognition.”
Tenney, a Republican from New York, posted on X that Trump was the force behind the Abraham Accords, calling them “the first new Arab-Israeli peace agreements in nearly 30 years … shattering the myth that peace in the Middle East required endless concessions to terrorists.”
She first nominated Trump back in January 2024 and submitted a second nomination in December.

“The next window opens in the Fall. When the nomination portal reopens, I will file a 3rd nomination if President Trump doesn’t win the Nobel Peace Prize, as he deserves,” Tenney said.
Rep. Buddy Carter of Georgia also nominated Trump for the prize on Tuesday, “in recognition of his historic role in brokering a ceasefire between Israel and Iran and preventing the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism from obtaining the most lethal weapon on the planet.”
Several Democrats took to social media, however, to decry the nominations.

I would love to see them give the Nobel Peace Prize to President Zelenskyy, if for no other reason to see trump turn purple with envy.

Trump, meanwhile, sounded off on Truth Social about the chances of actually getting the award after helping secure a peace agreement between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda.
“I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for this, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between India and Pakistan, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between Serbia and Kosovo, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for keeping Peace between Egypt and Ethiopia (A massive Ethiopian built dam, stupidly financed by the United States of America, substantially reduces the water flowing into The Nile River), and I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for doing the Abraham Accords in the Middle East which, if all goes well, will be loaded to the brim with additional Countries signing on, and will unify the Middle East for the first time in ‘The Ages!’” the president said.

“No, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize no matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine, and Israel/Iran, whatever those outcomes may be, but the people know, and that’s all that matters to me!” he said.
But Republican lawmakers are not the only people who have nominated the president for the prize.
This year, the president intervened and assisted in stopping what could have been a disaster between two nuclear powers, India and Pakistan, with the latter wanting to see him rewarded, CNN reported.
