Heartbreaking Bruce Willis News: He Is Now Non-Verbal

We have had a lot of sad news in 2023. Much of it surrounded the death of celebrities, but there is also sadness going on among those who are in declining health. This includes Bruce Willis.

Willis has been a part of our lives for many years and we have enjoyed watching him on television and in the movies. That is why it was so upsetting when we heard that he was going downhill quickly as a result of his aphasia diagnosis.

Unfortunately, he continues to go downhill and now his language skills are being lost. He is no longer acting due to his dementia and according to the update, he is now nonverbal.

It all started in March when the family of Bruce Willis revealed that his brain condition, aphasia, was now known to be frontotemporal dementia. Someone close to the family has now let the public know that he was not able to speak the last time he visited.

“My sense is the first one to three minutes he knows who I am,’ revealed Glenn. “He’s not totally verbal; he used to be a voracious reader — he didn’t want anyone to know that — and he’s not reading now.’ He also said that while Bruce’s language skills are no longer ‘available to him, and yet he’s still Bruce. When you’re with him, you know that he’s Bruce and you’re grateful that he’s there, but the joie de vivre is gone.’”

He continued: “The thing that makes [his disease] so mind-blowing is if you’ve ever spent time with Bruce Willis, there is no one who had any more joie de vivre than he.’ According to Bruce’s friend, while previously Bruce’ just adored waking up every morning and trying to live life to its fullest,’ he now lives as though ‘seeing life through a screen door.’”

At this time, Bruce is being cared for by his wife and daughters. He also has his ex-wife, Demi Moore, who is supportive of the family and does what she can to help as well.

We understand it is a difficult time for the family and we wish only the best. May they have peace during this difficult time.
